Tim Fain personally oversees every stage of the process, from the initial consultation to the final stitch. For over twenty years, he has studied the architecture of the men's suit, combining the traditions of Italian tailoring with the uncompromising precision of hand craftsmanship. As a result, every Sartoria Fain garment does more than fit impeccably - it becomes a natural extension of the man himself, reflecting his character and personal style.

I have known Tim for around ten years. He made for me many suits, jackets, bespoke jeans and other pieces, and I still wear almost all of them. Many are simply the best clothes I have. One of the most spectacular bespoke suits that was ever made for me. Cut and tailored by the extraordinarly talented and skilled Tim Fain of Sartoria Fain in Kyiv. Tim was introduced to me a couple of years ago at an event in Serbia hosted by my pal Degorsi. Our mutual friend Platon Alexandr told me that I must talk to a young tailor from Kyiv. This was before the war and Tim had just started his business. He made a first suit for me and then this one as the second one. The fabric is a very soft Cashmere from Drago and Tim managed to give the suit a very unique 1930s vibe. The tailoring and the details are excellent and very Italian (eg buttons hidden in the cuffs of the trousers to make it easier to remove dust and dirt). All in all a very softly tailored and comfortable suit including a well fitting waistcoat made entirely of Cashmere.

The timeline depends on the complexity of the garment, the selected cloth, and the number of fittings required. In most cases, the process takes between 2 and 10 weeks. We do not work to the rhythm of mass production. Every garment passes through several stages of handwork and precise refinement to achieve an exceptional fit.
Your journey begins with a private consultation at our atelier. Together with the Master, you will select cloth from some of the world's finest mills, define the style and details of your future garment, and have more than 30 individual measurements taken. These measurements become the foundation of your personal patterns, which are carefully preserved for future commissions.
